Community gardens throughout Galway city have been busy over the last few months clearing, planning and starting the planting out of seedlings and seeds for what it is hoped will be another bumper year of produce.

An inspirational evening was had at Galway Community College, Wellpark Road last Thursday as local young musicians taking part in Music Generation Programmes from local youth services such as Foróige picked up electric guitars, keyboards or microphones and drew in their audience. Another special treat came from TUSLA family services staff who strongly supported the young musicians of tomorrow onstage.
